Does it deliver?
Stunning views from the upper level and very comfy bed made our stay enjoyable. The friendly feline residents added charm and warmth to our experience.
Road noise can be an issue during the day. Staff interactions felt rather functional without much warmth.

if you like a small, cold room with a view of the stairwell, then this place is just perfect! I expected a warm welcome and maybe some sort of compensation for all this inconveniences but apparently that’s too much to ask for. probably all the good reviews are from people too polite to complain. disappointed.

The serene environment complemented our relaxing getaway.
Unfortunately, the check-in process was bothersome. we were sent to an unmade room, which was frustrating after carrying our luggage up the stairs. The room itself became overly warm due to inadequate curtain coverage, allowing annoying light to filter in all night. I found it challenging to explore the area since the uphill walk from the town center felt quite steep and tiring.

The stay was quite comfortable in the Superior Studio, which provided enough space for our family. We enjoyed the clean facilities and the well-equipped kitchenette made meal prep easy. The location was great, just a short uphill walk to the main center of Kaikoura, and we loved being close to the Dolphin Encounter. It was nice to find a friendly dog and cats roaming around, adding a cozy touch to our experience.

The bed was super comfy, and the hot shower felt fantastic after a long day. It was nice to have clean linens and a well-equipped kitchenette for meal prep. We also found it awesome that the room was serviced midday, which was totally unexpected!

We had a fantastic stay at Bella Vista Motel Kaikoura! The location was great, just a short distance from the town and restaurants. Our room was spotless and had a well-equipped kitchenette, ideal for our family. The kids loved playing in the playground, and the beautiful mountain views from our room were a lovely bonus.
Parking was slightly limited during peak times.

The Superior Studio offered ample space for our family and a well-equipped kitchenette, perfect for meal prep. We especially enjoyed the beautiful mountain view from our room that truly enhanced our stay. The cozy atmosphere made it a pleasant retreat. we often relaxed and enjoyed the serene garden view nearby.
